Ashley Conrad Walter of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP was a captivating #SpecialGuest on the #VirtualLunch today, Friday, June 11, 2021. His discussion of #ESG and #CorporateSocialResponsibility was informative and inspiring. My key takeaways were: (1) Junior lawyers should volunteer to prepare client alerts on areas of interest; (2) Execution is critical in business development; (3) Look at new regulations and laws to find opportunities to grow your practice; (4) ESG and corporate social responsibility have become board level issues; (5) It is important to approach ESG with a framework; (6) ESG encompasses many different issues so technology like Joinder that aligns the various workstreams is extremely valuable; and, (7) Data and metrics are critical to empowering ESG. Thanks to Don Keller, the CEO Of Joinder, for participating and supporting our series on #EmpoweringEngagement, and attendees Nancy Myrland, Monica Sandler, Cristin Traylor, Alan Shimp, Minoo Razavi, Dennis Garcia, Bárbara Gondim da Rocha, Douglas Luftman, Sherine Clarke, Jaimie Field, Molly McDonough, Gail Ruopp, Jay Stromberg, Lydia Flocchini, Bernadette Beekman, Carol Jackson-Doerge, Karol Valencia, Adam Pembrey, Zoya Gorbachova, and Bruce S.
