What a great way to end week # 39 on the #virtuallunch today, Friday, December 18, 2020, which featured the insights of Jordan Furlong, who was the very first #specialguest back on April 17, 2020. He led a fantastic discussion. My key takeaways were: (1) Providers of legal services, need to understand their buyers; (2) Law departments are retaining a significant amount of work, rather than giving it to outside counsel; (3) The last vaccination of COVID-19 will not be the end of the impact of the pandemic on the delivery of legal services; (4) It is long overdue for sellers of legal services to understand their buyers; (5) Managing partners should understand what their best clients need; (6) Professional identity should be a mandatory course in law school; (7) Law schools make law firms look like Bell Labs; and, of course (8) Paint colors matter 🙂 Thanks to Jordan and attendees Jaimie Field, Monica Sandler, MCOM, MCT, Bernadette Beekman, Jeff Schwarz, Blair Botsford, Jay Stromberg, Joy Murao, Robin Moselle, Stephen Embry, Gina Hardin, Sherine Clarke, Dennis Garcia ⚖, Scott J.
