We had a great #FeedbackForum conversation today, Tuesday, June 1, 2021, on the #VirtualLunch about engagement. My key takeaways were: (1) There is a strong connection between engagement and judgment; (2) A combination of confidence and fear is important to thrive; (3) Leaders give employees the freedom to succeed by creating an empowering environment; (4) Being kind and helpful to others is a key form of engagement; and, (5) Listening is essential.
