Over the course of hundreds of conversations on the #VirtualLunch, we have had pretty organized discussions, with some participants even raising their hands, but our exchange today, Thursday, May 27, 2021, descended into chaos due to the passionate topic of, you guessed it, Costco Wholesale. That’s right. Not work-life balance, the pandemic, the billable hour, the robot takeover. None of those topics have ever generated the enthusiastic buzz of Costco. We ended the call with overwhelming laughter and I was grateful, as always, for the chance to participate. We also spoke about employee monitoring when working remotely, virtual religious services, and virtual reality training, but it was Costco that really energized the group. The Wawa, Inc. mention was fun as well.
